Temporary power supplies often involve the use of various power sources. These include a diesel generator or a grid connection, but also solar or wind energy. We can predict the energy demand very accurately by using historical, current and real-time data. Our software controls these sources fully independently on the basis of data, forecasting and power planning. This way, all devices work optimally together.
Energy Management System (EMS)
At Greener, we specialise in combining different energy sources that are already available. Think about grid connections, solar energy or a wind turbine. In order to guarantee that the customer always has power, it is important to monitor energy consumption.
If necessary, certain energy sources are switched on or off. This can be done manually, but it is labour-intensive and prone to errors. This is why we have developed smart control software. The software determines which sources are used to keep the battery charged at all times, without anyone having to press a button.
Combining is optimising
Our Energy Management System (EMS) connects all energy sources on site and controls them locally. The stand-alone EMS is accessible via internet 24/7. It is always ready to call up statuses, issue warnings if things are going wrong and provide insight into your energy consumption.
A data-driven approach
In addition to the Greener EMS, our software also offers the possibility of predicting your power consumption. This is crucial in order to not only respond to the current situation, but also to be assured of optimal energy management in the future.
Autonomous control based on prediction
Our EMS uses several sources of information for this. First of all, it makes use of the insights into the theoretical energy consumption, such as the power inventory by Powerplan. However, the theoretical requirement is often not exactly the same as the actual consumption. The Greener EMS takes this into account when determining the setpoints of the various power generators. In this way, Greener can often achieve a CO₂ reduction of up to 100% on site.
