A huge thank you to the team at Greener for their support with our electric vehicle conference ‘SMMT Drive Zero’. Their battery system has delivered sufficient energy to keep 55 electric vehicles charged while they have been put through their paces by our media and consumer guests.
The Dutch local council ‘Het Hogeland’ wants to enable employees to travel fossil-free by offering an electric car share service. There was just one snag, there wasn’t enough power available from the local energy grid to charge them quickly.
With our battery, the council is now able to provide enough power during peak hours. For this project, our batteries were charged with solar energy which we used to to charge the electric cars. This solution with locally generated energy means that there is no additional burden on the local energy grid.
For Solar Solutions, there was a need for additional charging infrastructure for the electric vehicles that would come to their exhibition. Using our mobile charging stations, they were able to charge up to 20 cars simultaneously. In two days, we charged more than 80 cars while their owners were introduced to the latest innovations in solar energy at the event.
