Promote sustainable energy for customers
ALIPQ is a network operator (DSO) in Switzerland that is not only responsible for the distribution of electricity, but also for the generation of energy and sales directly to the customer. A large part of the electricity they supply to their customers is generated in green hydro-power plants, but many of their customers are completely unaware that the power they use is produced sustainably.
Mobile batteries for ALPIQ
With the deployment of two Greener mobile batteries at ten events in Switzerland in the summer of 2019, ALPIQ has contributed to making the energy supply at the festivals more sustainable with green electricity from their own energy sources. The batteries were used for the World Cup Mountain Biking, various music festivals such as Frauenfeld and Lakelive and at trade fairs as power supply for sustainable homes.
Working with Greener was great fun. We have been able to use the batteries successfully in many places and have learned a lot. For ALPIQ this was a wonderful project in which we could do something sustainable in return for our customers.
