Meet Guido van Stiphout – Our Product Owner

Are you curious to hear from the people behind Greener? In this blog, Guido tells us more about who he is, his work here and why he joined our team.   

To start: what are two fun facts about you? 

I can do a great clown horn impression, and I lived in Taipei for two years. 

What do you do at Greener? 

At Greener, I do a bit of everything. I’m the product owner of the web development team, where I help determine what’s important to develop for the Greener Projects web application. Additionally, I work on getting a clear picture of our sales activities and strategic opportunities, and I use that information to prioritize what’s important right now. Essentially, I spend a lot of time talking to people. 

Why do you like working here? 

What I really appreciate here is the autonomy and trust I receive, both from my manager and the organization. I feel truly valued. I often notice that when I take the initiative, I receive positive feedback. Additionally, my personal approach as a manager is appreciated. 

Where can we usually find you in your downtime? 

In my downtime, you can usually find me at home with my daughter! We love spending time in the park with the family, having picnics. Sometimes we visit the petting zoo. I also go for a run every Sunday morning! I’m planning to participate in the Singelloop in Utrecht soon, so I am training for that.
