Greener realizes sustainable construction of a solar park for Goldbeck

Sunvest & Goldbeck Solar wanted to avoid energy from a diesel generator, when building the Duurkenakker Energy Park near Muntendam. That’s why they contacted us to provide mobile battery power for the construction of the park. More than 160,000 solar panels were installed – enough power for 20,000 households.

We build the future of energy production; it does not make sense to use diesel to construct a solar park if there is an alternative. Greener helped us with their battery solution, which saved over 4500 liters of diesel in 8 weeks.

During the construction of the solar installation, our battery was connected to a small grid connection at a farmer nearby. This grid connection was not sufficient to provide the entire construction with power, but thanks to the use of the battery, the required power could still be achieved with ease. Thanks to this grid-edge solution, we saved 4559 liters of diesel and 14.725 kg CO2 emissions.
