Meet Eline Rietdijk – Our Web developer
Curious to hear from the people behind Greener? In this blog, Eline tells us more about who she is, her work here and why she joined our team.
What are two fun facts about you?
I can still sing along to old songs by Avril Lavigne (favorite: My World!), and I really love vegetarian sausage paté.
What do you do at Greener?
“I started in November 2022 as a software developer, actually a full-stack developer. As a web developer, I work on the website: Greener Projects. We created this website for project administration, so that both our clients and we can see in real-time what the batteries are doing. It’s quite new, so we are constantly working on improving things. In addition, I work on the reports that we send to clients at the end of projects.”
Why do you like working here?
A lot, actually! I really like the atmosphere – that’s the most important thing for me. Everyone is open and friendly, and likes talking to each other. It’s also okay to make mistakes – so it’s easier to learn because there’s not such a big risk attached to it – making a mistake is allowed. In my team there are also people with a lot of experience, so you learn a lot from them. I get to work closely with them. And the company isn’t so big, which means you get a lot of responsibility. I especially like the fact that you can contribute your own ideas and that they are taken seriously. I feel appreciated, and it’s just really cozy in the office. You can tell that creating a pleasant atmosphere is important to everyone. And we all work towards the same vision – it’s truly perfect.
Where can we usually find you in your downtime?
Usually with friends on a terrace, or having dinner and playing games at someone’s home. But mainly spending time with friends. You can also find me at the gym; I enjoy various classes – spinning, zumba, yoga, pilates, a bit of everything, really. I also love reading, crafts, and cooking, but I mostly do those activities in the winter.
